Msendani: Pirates Move A ‘Dream Come True’

Orlando Pirates’ new signing Daniel Msendani has revealed that joining the Soweto Giants has always been a dream for him.

Msendani is one of three players, along with Andre de Jong and Mpho Chabatsane, secured by Pirates during the January transfer window.

The Zimbabwean-born attacker was bought from Marumo Gallants, where he has contributed one goal this season after 13 appearances.

“Joining Orlando Pirates for me is like a dream come true because it’s one of the biggest teams in Africa,” said Msendani.

“So, I’m thrilled to be here, and I’m looking forward to delivering and helping the team to score goals and win matches.”

The 25-year-old further expressed that he’s aware of the big squad the club has; however, he aims to compete for his spot.

“To join Pirates and knowing that they have a big squad, for me, is a big motivation. I want to compete and to be one of the best in the team,” Msendani stated.

Msendani will be looking to make his first appearance for the black and white side as they take on Sekhukhune United at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Friday.
