SAFA Unveils New Adidas Away Kit
As previously revealed by this publication, the South African Football Association (SAFA) officially unveiled the away Adidas kit for all national teams on Friday morning.
Sportswire understands that SAFA delayed the release of the away kit until after Hugo Broos announced his final Bafana Bafana squad on Thursday for two international friendly matches against Panama later this month.
The FIFA-sanctioned friendlies will take place at Moses Mabhida Stadium on 27 March, with the second match scheduled for DHL Stadium on 31 March.
SAFA had earlier unveiled the home kit this month, with plans for Banyana Banyana to wear it at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. However, the tournament has since been postponed until July.
With Bafana also in action in March, they are now set to become the first team to debut the new kit in front of home fans against Panama, who—like South Africa—have qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
This camp represents the final opportunity for Broos to assess his squad ahead of the global showpiece in the United States, Canada, and Mexico in June. With places still up for grabs, players will need to deliver strong performances to secure their spots.
