All Blacks Put Their Incredible Home Record On The Line Against The Boks

The All Blacks have confirmed the venues for their two Rugby Championship test matches against the Springboks next year.

The first test will take place at the historic Eden Park in Auckland on 6 September. New Zealand boasts an impressive unbeaten record of 50 matches at this venue, with 48 wins and two draws.

The second test is scheduled for 13 September at Sky Stadium in Wellington.

This series represents a chance for the Springboks to return the favor, as they hosted both tests in South Africa this year. The Springboks’ victories in both matches resulted in their first Freedom Cup win since 2009.

The Springboks have enjoyed a remarkable run against the All Blacks, winning four consecutive matches, including the Rugby World Cup final last year in France. This streak began with a World Cup warm-up match at Twickenham Stadium.

By choosing to host the first test at the iconic Eden Park, the All Blacks are putting their unbeaten record on the line. The Springboks will undoubtedly be eager to extend their winning streak against their arch-rivals.

Meanwhile, the Springboks will host Australia for two Rugby Championship matches in South Africa. The specific venues for these matches will be announced by SA Rugby. The Springboks will also face Argentina home and away before concluding the year with the Autumn Nations Series in the UK.

The Springboks made history in the 2024 Autumn Nations Series by winning all three matches on tour for the first time since 2013.
