Broos Sees Promise In New Bafana Talent After Tanzania Draw
Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos expressed satisfaction with his team’s draw against Tanzania in an international friendly match on Friday at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium.

“Tanzania is not an easy team, they are strong, and I like their striker,” Broos said of Tanzania, who, just like Bafana, qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations finals in Morocco that are sandwiched later this year and January next year.
“When a new team plays like this against Tanzania, then you have to be satisfied and be happy.”
Despite the lack of goals, Broos was impressed with the team’s performance, particularly given the strength of their opponents.
Broos also highlighted the potential of some of the new players in his squad.
“There were few players that pleased me very, very much, and this is good for the future,” he said.
However, Broos kept the identities of these players under wraps, preferring to keep his cards close to his chest.
“We will see in the future how these guys are performing in their teams, and then everything is possible.”
The Belgian coach’s comments suggest that he is optimistic about the future of Bafana Bafana, with a mix of new talent and experienced players.
