Magesi captain and goalkeeper Elvis Chipezeze says their main aim for 2025 is to win all their games for them to move from the bottom in the Betway Premiership. 

 Dikwena Tsa Meetse is rooted at the bottom of the Betway Premiership with six points after 10 matches. They have lost the final five matches in all competitions since winning the Carling Knockout final against Mamelodi Sundowns in November. 

As they lost all those matches, it led to coach Clinton Larsen stepping away and was recently replaced by Owen da Gama. 

Chipezeze has admitted that it’s not nice to be where they are now but they will work hard in 2025 so that they will win many games. 

 “We just have to keep on working hard and add more on the performances that we’ve been having,” Chipezeze said. 

 “We need to try to come out of that hole we are in right now because it’s not looking nice to be on the bottom when you finish the year. 

 “So, we will try our best in the upcoming games. We will try getting positive results in every game so that we can come out of the hole.” 

Meanwhile, the former Baroka goalkeeper also added what they need to do for the club to do well in the league. “We just have to continue doing what we’ve been doing well, taking the positives that we’ve been doing. We will also try to leave the negatives out because once we stick to the negatives it will become a problem,” Chipezeze added. 

“So, we just have to continue doing the things that we’ve been doing good and try even work harder. We just have to work even harder and try to rectify the mistakes that we’ve been doing in the past games.” 

 Magesi’s first game under new coach da Gama will be away against TS Galaxy at Mbombela Stadium on Saturday (15:30).
