Chippa United has signed Mamelodi Sundowns left-back Gadinkame Modise on a three-year deal.

The Chilli Boys announced the transfer after Modise spent last season on loan at the club.

“We are pleased to announce that Chippa United FC and Mamelodi Sundowns Fc have agreed on a transfer for Gadinkame Modise,” said Chippa in a statement. 

“The player has signed a 3-year deal with us. Wishing “bale” the best for the upcoming seasons with us.”  

Modise, who has also played for AmaZulu on loan from Sundowns, joins Azola Metrose, Gadiel Kamagi, Xolani Sithole, Samkelo Jali, Andile Jali, Sifiso Mazibuko, Seun Ndlovu, Thobani Jacobs, Boy Madingwane, Aphelele Teto, Siseko Manona, and Giovanni Philander at Chippa United.

The club, under the leadership of Kwanele Kopo, will kick off the new season with an away match against Orlando Pirates at Orlando Stadium on 14 September.
