Former AmaZulu Forward Letsoalo Lands New Club

Victor Letsoalo, AmaZulu’s striker last season, appears to have found a new home ahead of the 2024/25 campaign with TS Galaxy.

Letsoalo departed the KwaZulu-Natal club after a single season, having arrived from Sekhukhune United in a swap deal involving Rally Bwalya.

Sources close to the player report that Letsoalo is poised to sign a one-year contract with Galaxy, with an option to extend for another year.

The 31-year-old struggled to replicate his prior form at AmaZulu. During the 2021/22 season with Royal AM, he finished second in the DStv Premiership golden boot race with an impressive 15 goals.

Thwihli Thwahla secured a third-place league finish, but Letsoalo missed out on the top scorer award to Mamelodi Sundowns’ Peter Shalulile, who netted 23 goals.

This past season, Letsoalo managed only three goals in 22 appearances across all competitions. AmaZulu have already released Augustine Kwem, George Maluleka, and Veluyeke Zulu.

Meanwhile, Galaxy, coming off their highest-ever PSL finish of sixth place, are bolstering their squad. They’ll face third-placed Stellenbosch FC in the MTN8 quarter-final next season.
