Galaxy Sign Former AmaZulu Duo

Victor Letsoalo and Siphesihle Maduna have officially signed for TS Galaxy, according to sources close to both players.

However, Tim Sukazi’s side cannot officially unveil them yet. TS Galaxy has a tradition of unveiling new signings in front of the king in Mpumalanga.

Another complication is the FIFA ban on Galaxy signing new players this season. It’s unclear if this issue has been resolved. Despite this, Sukazi was confident of finding a solution and signing more players soon.

Letsoalo joins Galaxy after a single, underwhelming season with AmaZulu. He arrived there at the beginning of last season from Sekhukhune United.

Maduna, like Letsoalo, played for AmaZulu last season. He was initially released by the club after being sidelined by coach Pablo Franco Martin. Cape Town Spurs picked him up in the second half of the season, but they were relegated at the end.

This relegation opened the door for Maduna’s move to Galaxy, where he hopes to revive his fading career.

“These players have signed with Galaxy,” said the source. “But as you know, they have a tradition of unveiling them in front of the king, which is why there’s no official confirmation yet.”

In the meantime, Galaxy, who achieved their highest PSL finish of sixth place last season, has seen several departures. Goalkeeper Vasilije Kolak, attacking midfielder Higor Vidal, and veterans Vuyo Mere and Bernard Parker have all left the club, but the latter duo will take the role of coaching DStv Diski Challenge next season.

Lehlohonolo Mojela was sold to Stellenbosch, while Pogiso Sanoka signed for SuperSport United.
