Former Sundowns goalkeeper Coach Robinson Joins AmaZulu

Former Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper coach Wendell Robinson has joined AmaZulu.
Robinson, who left Sundowns in December last year alongside coach Manqoba Mngqithi, has replaced Aubrey Vilakazi at Usuthu.
Vilakazi was promoted at the start of this season following the departure of Wayne Sandilands, who joined Fadlu Davids at Tanzanian side Simba SC.
Vilakazi is the second technical staff member to leave AmaZulu recently, after Pilela Maposa reunited with coach Benni McCarthy at the Kenyan national team.
Robinson’s appointment at AmaZulu comes a day after Usuthu suffered a 2-0 defeat to his former club, Sundowns, in the Betway Premiership match at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Tuesday.
The loss saw Usuthu drop to seventh place in the table with 30 points after 20 matches.
The Durban-based club, coached by Arthur Zwane, will next be in action when they host TS Galaxy at King Zwelithini Stadium on Friday at 19:30.Sources and related content
