Al Ahly coach Marcel Koller says Orlando Pirates is a strong team with a lot of good players that will give the Red Devils a tough game.

The Red Devils will visit the Buccaneers on Saturday in the second game of the CAF Champions League at Orlando Stadium in Soweto. 

Both these two sides won their first games in Group C. The last time Al Ahly faced the Buccaneers was in 2015 in the Semi-final of the CAF Confederation Cup. Unfortunately, the Red Devils lost 4-3 at home against the Buccaneers. 

Meanwhile, Koller believes that Pirates is a strong team with a lot of good players. The Swiss tactician also said that some players of Pirates will give them a problem but refused to disclose their names. 

“We play against a strong team with a lot of good players but I don’t want to give you the names of the players that I think will give us a problem,” Koller said ahead of their game against Orlando Pirates. 

 “We discussed these players [that we think will give us problems] and our players will be good to present us. We’ll also have a look and analyze these players today [Friday afternoon] and also tomorrow [Saturday] before the game.” 

The Red Devils are in first place in their group while the Buccaneers are in position number two with three points each, but separated by the goal difference. 

Al Ahly won 4-2 while Pirates won 2-1 in their first games. In their next game, Koller’s side will face ENPPI in the Egyptian League Cup on Tuesday, December 10. Orlando Pirates on the other side were supposed to face Golden Arrows midweek but their game is postponed and they will play their next game against Stade d’Abidjan on Saturday, December 14 in the Champions League away.
