Ncikazi Sends Stern Warning To Stellenbosch

Orlando Pirates assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi has expressed confidence in his team’s ability to secure a fourth consecutive MTN8 title against Stellenbosch at Mbombela Stadium on Saturday.
The Buccaneers are looking to extend their dominance in the competition, having won the last three seasons.
Ncikazi believes that his team’s focus on their own strengths, rather than external factors, will be key to their success.
“The beauty about our team is that we focus on our team, not on surroundings,” Ncikazi said.
“We play every match to win it, and this game is not a friendly; it’s a tough opponent.
“But we’re the champions, and we have to face every challenge that comes to us, and we’ve prepared for Stellenbosch.”
Pirates and Stellies have a history of intense rivalry, having faced each other in the final last season, where the Buccaneers emerged victorious with a 3-1 win at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Stellenbosch will be looking to exact revenge and claim their maiden MTN8 title, while Pirates aim to make it four in a row.
On their road to the final, Pirates beat Polokwane City and Mamelodi Sundowns, showcasing their strength and determination.
Stellenbosch, on the other hand, eliminated AmaZulu and Sekhukhune United, demonstrating their own resolve to lift the trophy.
