Ndamane Wanted By Ngezana’s Club, Sundowns, And Pirates

Sportswire has been informed that TS Galaxy defender Khulumane Ndamane is being tracked by Siyabonga Ngezana’s club, FCSB, in Romania.
Additionally, there’s an inquiry from Mamelodi Sundowns for the Kaizer Chiefs graduate. Ndamane was named man of the match when he made his Bafana Bafana debut in a friendly against Tanzania at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Friday.
Orlando Pirates is another club that has shown interest in the player, though their interest is not as strong as that of Ngezana’s club in Romania.
Ndamane, the 21-year-old left-footed center-back, featured in 26 matches across all competitions for Galaxy this past season as they finished fifth in the Betway Premiership under coach Adnan Beganovic.
The player’s agent, Musa Sithebe, informed this publication of the interest but stated he could not divulge too much information.
“There is interest for Ndamane in Romania,” Sithebe said. “There is also interest locally, but I can’t say much because nothing has been finalized.”
According to Sportswire sources, they would prefer to see Ndamane move abroad to Romania, given Siyabonga Ngezana’s success in Bucharest. The 28-year-old has been a revelation at FCSB since joining them from Kaizer Chiefs at the start of the 2023/24 season. He has won the league title twice in the last two seasons, along with the Romanian Supercup.
This past season, Ngezana was named FCSB’s Defender of the Season, having featured in 41 matches in all competitions and scoring one goal.
He played in 11 matches in the UEFA Europa League this past season, where FCSB lost to French giants Olympique Lyon in the Round of 16. They also played five matches in the UEFA Champions League qualifying stages but lost to Sparta Prague in the third round of qualifying, which was enough to secure their spot in the UEFA Europa League group phase.
It is this stage where Ndamane, according to sources, believes he can be successful and follow in the footsteps of his former teammate, Samukele Kabini, who Molde signed in Norway during the January transfer window. Kabini also made his Bafana Bafana debut when Bafana Bafana beat Mozambique in the second friendly at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday.
