PSL Confirms Dates And Times For The Carling Knockout Semi-Finals
The PSL has confirmed the dates and times of the Carling Knockout semifinals.
KwaZulu-Natal side Richards Bay will host Magesi FC at King Zwelithini Stadium on 9 November (15:00).
Bay reached the semifinals after beating Cape Town City on Saturday, while Magesi stunned the losing finalists last season TS Galaxy on Sunday.
Marumo Gallants, who beat defending champions Stellenbosch on Sunday, will host Mamelodi Sundowns at Dr Molemela Stadium the following day (15:00).
Sundowns, who won this cup in 2019, crushed Kaizer Chiefs 4-0 in the quarter finals at FNB Stadium on Saturday to reach the semis.
Sundowns is seen as the heavy favourite to win the competition following that display, but coach Manqoba Mngqithi has played their chances’ down.
Meanwhile, the final of the Carling Knockout Cup will take place at Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein on 23 November.
