Richards Bay Signs Million Rand Sponsor

Phakwe Group has been announced as the new sponsorship of Richards Bay.
The sponsorship was announced at the luxurious unveiling in the beach front of Richards Bay on Wednesday.
The sponsor, according Thabiso Tenyane who is the CEO of Phakwe Group, is R100 million.
The deal was structured that R20 million will be paid in the next years and R40 million has been committed into a facility that the club is going to build.
“I decided to show this commitment and the sponsorship of Richards Bay….
“We are coming to build the biggest project; it will be guest projects here. Five years ago, I said I wanted to build a power plant and on Friday I will be leaving to China to finalize the project.
“I’m the leader in the energy sector, so I’m here to stay. This is a serious sponsor, we signed R100 billion.
“The first season sponsor is in the bank account. This is just bit and you will be shocked what we are going to be doing at Richards Bay. We are looking to beef up the squad. I’m not just a sponsor, I’m a leader.
“I landed with my jet here.
Tenyane also added that he wants to position four or three in this upcoming season.
“I’m going to give the club the goalkeeper coach, people from the technical department,” he added.
Who is Thabiso Tenyane?
Phakwe Group was founded by Tenyane currently executive chairman of the group. Mr. Thabiso Tenyane is an accomplished global leader, investor, and entrepreneur with over 25 years experience in managing multibillion-rand global businesses in industries that include ICT, Public sector, Energy, Investments, Aviation, and Engineering.
By capitalizing on his sharp business acumen, technical expertise, interpersonal skills, and strategic mindset.
