Struggling Baroka Set For Another Coaching Change

Sportswire has learned that Baroka FC, currently struggling in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, is poised to make another coaching change.
Stan Nkoane is reportedly set to return to the club, while Foster Hlungwani, who took over after two matches, is expected to be reassigned or removed.
Nkoane was present at the Global Stadium on Saturday as Baroka suffered a 3-2 defeat to league leaders Milford FC. Hlungwani was appointed after the departure of Morgan Mammila, who failed to secure maximum points in the first two matches of the season.
Hlungwani initially enjoyed success, leading Baroka to victories over Hungry Lions and Kruger United in September. However, the team’s form has deteriorated significantly, with five consecutive matches without a win. This poor run has seen Baroka slip into the relegation zone to 14th place, losing their last three games in a row.
The Limpopo side, who finished third last season and reached the PSL playoffs, are determined to return to the top flight after relegation in 2021/22. Given their current struggles, the club has turned to history-maker Nkoane to help turn things around.
If all goes according to plan, Nkoane could be on the bench when Baroka host Leruma United on Saturday.
