Zungu Aims For Crucial Win Against TS Galaxy Before FIFA Break

AmaZulu midfielder Bongani Zungu says his team is determined to secure three points before the FIFA international break.
Usuthu will host fifth-placed TS Galaxy in a Betway Premiership match at King Zwelithini Stadium on Friday at 19:30, aiming to return to winning form.
They enter this game following a 2-0 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns, Zungu’s former club, at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Tuesday.
This loss dropped them from fifth to seventh place in the table, with 30 points after 22 matches.
“We are playing against a team that is currently in good form, a team that has a lot of energy,” Zungu acknowledged. “Obviously, it’s going to be a good match of football and a tough game.
“I think we haven’t performed badly ourselves, and we are not in poor form. We typically win our home games.”
Impressively, Usuthu enters this home game on a four-game winning streak in their backyard, having scored nine goals and conceded only one.
“We will try our best to win the game,” Zungu continued. “We want to go into the FIFA break with three points, which is very important. I feel Friday’s game will be a good match to watch for South African football.”
Unlike AmaZulu, who have dropped in the standings, Galaxy climbed to fifth place after defeating SuperSport United 3-1 at Mbombela Stadium.
However, they have struggled on the road, winning only two matches away from home.
“We have depth in the squad, and everyone who comes in gives their best,” Zungu added. “I think whoever the coach decides to play on Friday will contribute, and I’m confident about that ahead of the game.”
