13 Players Out! Goss Headed Back To Parent Club

Siwelele have confirmed the departure of goalkeeper Ricardo Goss following an impressive loan spell in which he established himself as one of the league’s standout performers during the 2025/26 season.

The Bafana Bafana goalkeeper joined Mamelodi Sundowns from the now-defunct Bidvest Wits in 2020.

Despite spending five years with the Brazilians, Goss is yet to make an official first-team appearance for the club, having spent much of his time out on loan at SuperSport United and, most recently, Siwelele following the sale of SuperSport United’s PSL status.

Goss made 30 appearances for Siwelele last season, conceding 29 goals and keeping 14 clean sheets to cap an outstanding campaign.

His performances earned him a nomination for the PSL Goalkeeper of the Season award alongside Kaizer Chiefs’ Brandon Petersen and Orlando Pirates’ Sipho Chaine, who became the first goalkeeper in PSL history to finish a season with 21 clean sheets.

While Goss is the headline departure, Siwelele have also confirmed the exits of Enoch Quaicoe, Gape Moralo, Keanin Ayer, Lyle Lakay, Lazola Maku, Kgaogelo Sekgota, Happy Mashiane (who was on loan from Kaizer Chiefs), Pogiso Sanoka, Ghampani Lungu, Hohlale Ngwato, Neo Rapoo and Thabang Mahlangu.

Of those departing, Lungu, Ngwato and Rapoo have already completed moves to Orlando Pirates, while the futures of the remaining players are yet to be confirmed.
