Sebelebele: Support From Pirates Boosts My Confidence

Bafana Bafana’s latest addition, Kamogelo Sebelebele, is reveling in the spotlight after joining Orlando Pirates, citing the massive support he receives from the Buccaneers as a major confidence booster.
The 23-year-old winger, who made the switch from TS Galaxy during the off-season, has quickly become an integral part of Pirates.
Sebelebele has played five league games, scoring one goal, and has also made a significant impact in the MTN8 Cup, scoring two goals in two games against Mamelodi Sundowns, helping his team reach the final.
The versatile’s impressive performances with Pirates have caught the attention of Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos, who has included him in the national team squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho at Dr Molemela Stadium on Friday and Nigeria on Tuesday next week.
“Joining Orlando Pirates changed a lot in my career because the support I get boosts my confidence,” Sebelebele said.
“I’m ready to show people what I’m made of, and when playing for small teams, people don’t recognize you, but now that I’m playing for a big club, they will recognize me.”
Sebelebele’s confidence is palpable, and he is eager to make a lasting impression with both Pirates and Bafana Bafana.
Sebelebele’s call-up to the national team is a testament to his hard work and dedication.
The former TS Galaxy winger had previously been part of the Bafana Bafana squad that participated in the COSAFA Cup in June, and now he has been allowed to shine in top-tier games.
“I’m happy and excited to be here and to be allowed to represent my country,” Sebelebele added.
“I’m looking forward to helping the team qualify for the World Cup.”
