Magesi Makes Raft Signings, Including Ex-Chiefs And Sundowns

Magesi FC has officially unveiled 12 new signings ahead of their debut season in the DStv Premiership.
The 2023/24 Motsepe Foundation Championship champions have secured the services of former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns players, Kgaugelo Sekgota and Gift Motupa.

The duo joined the club alongside Limbikani Mzava, Lebogang Mabotja, Menzi Ndwandwe, Wonderboy Makhubu, Bongani Mpandle, Tsepo Kakora, Sello Motsepe, Maloisane Mokhele, Delamo Abrahams, and Jacob Everson, with majority of these players having been in the past reported by Sportswire.

Coach Clinton Larsen, the architect of the club’s promotion to the Betway Premiership, has been retained as head coach for the upcoming 2024/25 season, which kicks off next month. Former Sundowns and Golden Arrows midfielder Papi Zothwane joins the technical team as assistant coach alongside Jackie Ledwaba.
According to the yet-to-be-officialized PSL fixture list, Magesi FC will begin their top-flight campaign against Sekhukhune United on 14 September at Peter Mokaba Stadium (20:00).
