Chiefs Assistant Coach Joins Moroccan FA
Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Fernando Da Cruz has left the club to join the Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), according to reports from Morocco.
Da Cruz, who had previously been linked with a departure from Chiefs, has been appointed to collaborate with Fathi Jamal on the OCP Project, a partnership between the FRMF and the OCP Group.
The departure of Da Cruz is a significant blow to Chiefs, especially for new head coach Nasreddine Nabi, who was announced during the off season.
The club will now need to find a new assistant coach ahead of their opening match of the 2024/25 Betway Premiership season against Marumo Gallants at Toyota Stadium on Saturday (17:30) next weekend.
