Khoza Re-elected As PSL Chairman

Dr. Irvin Khoza has once again been elected for the sixth time as the chairman of the Premier Soccer League (PSL).

The election took place at the Quadrennial General Meeting (QGM) held on Wednesday at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.

The QGM addressed various matters related to the league’s operations, including the presentation of the previous year’s annual report and the consideration of amendments to the NSL Handbook.

In accordance with Article 27 of the NSL Handbook, the newly elected Executive Committee was chosen to serve a four-year term.

The following individuals were elected to the Executive Committee:

  • Chairperson: Dr. Irvin Khoza (elected unopposed)
  • Executive Committee Members:
    1. Dr. Kaizer Motaung
    2. Ms. Mato Madlala
    3. Mr. Tim Sukazi
    4. Dr. Rejoice Simelane
    5. Mr. Sifiso Biyela
    6. Mr. Stanley Matthews
    7. Mr. Jonny Mogaladi

Newcomers to the Executive Committee include Sifiso Biyela of Richards Bay, Tim Sukazi of TS Galaxy, and Johnny Mogaladi of Polokwane City. They replace John Comitis of Cape Town City, Robert Benadie of Stellenbosch FC, and Chief Thidiela of Black Leopards.

These individuals will now be responsible for making key decisions that will shape the future of the PSL over the next four years.
