Mahlambi Delighted With His Progress

TS Galaxy forward Seluleko Mahlambi says he is pleased with the progress he has made in his football career so far.

Mahlambi — the younger brother of former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly winger Phakamani Mahlambi — has enjoyed an impressive start to his debut 2025/26 Betway Premiership season, netting five goals and providing two assists in just 12 appearances.

The 21-year-old has been a key contributor to Galaxy’s strong start to the campaign, with the Rockets currently sitting eighth on the log with 13 points from nine matches.

“I feel happy, I don’t want to lie,” said Mahlambi.

“I have never believed that it will be me one day who will get this opportunity. I would also like to thank God for how things worked out, arriving in my first season and already being able to provide goals and assists.”

“So to see that there is progress makes me happy.”

Mahlambi further gave credit to his coaches and teammates’ support, noting that it played a huge role in his performance.

“The support that I get from the coaches and teammates, they always make sure that at practice I push hard, even at games, they make sure that they support me in everything I do,” he said.

“Although there will be mistakes, they can help me fix them for the next game. I can say they play a big role in my current form.”
