Nedbank Cup Final Venue Announcement To Follow Semi-Final Matches

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed that the venue for the Nedbank Cup final will be announced on Sunday, after the conclusion of all quarter-final matches.

The Ke Yona Cup quarterfinals kicks off on Friday night with the University of Pretoria hosting Mamelodi Sundowns at Lucas Moripe Stadium (19:00).

The action continues on Saturday with Stellenbosch, who eliminated Sundowns in last season’s quarter-final, welcoming the 2016/17 champions SuperSport United to Danie Craven Stadium (15:00 PM).

Saturday’s schedule concludes with AmaZulu, who reached the final in 2010, facing defending champions Orlando Pirates at Moses Mabhida Stadium (18:00).

The final quarter-final clash will see the 2018/19 champions TS Galaxy take on Chippa United at Mbombela Stadium on Sunday. Following this match, the PSL will officially announce the venue for the Nedbank Cup final.

According to Sportswire, potential host stadiums include those that have previously hosted the final once: Mbombela Stadium, Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, Toyota Stadium, Royal Bafokeng Stadium, and DHL Stadium. Notably, Moses Mabhida Stadium, which has hosted the most cup finals and four Ke Yona Cups, has been ruled out for this season.
