Official: Sekhukhune Confirms Coach’s Departure
Sekhukhune United has confirmed that coach Peter Hyballa has left the club, without having sat on the bench.
Sportswire was informed a few days ago that Hyballa was on the brink of departure before even taking charge of his first match. This is due to coach having an infighting with the players, management and caught in a sex scandal, having been seen in such shoddy places.
The Germany-born coach was not on the bench as Sekhukhune lost 1-0 to Cape Town City in the MTN8 quarter final at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday.
However, talks were that he didn’t have his work permit issued on time to be on the bench, but it was a clear as daylight that he was gone.
Coach Lehlohonolo Seema is set to replace Hyballa, after leaving the club at the end of June, having been dismissed.
However, Seema is now coming back to take over at the side.
The former Golden Arrows coach was initially suspended by Sekhukhune with two games before the season ended, with the top-four guaranteed, their highest position in the club’s existence
As Sekhukhune is finalizing the return of Seema, McDonald Makhubedu, who was on the bench in Sunday’s MTN8 quarter final game, is taking over on an interim basis.
