Orlando Pirates Closing In On Galaxy Defender

Orlando Pirates are on the verge of completing their 11th signing, with Lebone Seama from TS Galaxy set to join the club, Sportswire has learned.
Seama has been seen training with the Buccaneers, who are taking their time to fully assess the defender. The 22-year-old has been with TS Galaxy since 2022 and was an ever-present figure for them last season, featuring in 30 matches across all competitions (22 in the league) as Tim Sukazi’s club finished fifth.
Should Seama sign, he will join a substantial list of new Pirates recruits for the upcoming season. These include Yanela Mbuthuma and Nkosikhona Mbatha from Richards Bay, Oswin Appollis from Polokwane City, Masindi Nemtajela (Marumo Gallants), Tshepang Moremi (AmaZulu), Sinoxolo Kwayiba (Chippa United), Tshepo Mashiloane (Baroka), and Sihle Nduli (Stellenbosch).
The Soweto Giants, who finished second in the league for the third consecutive season and also claimed their third consecutive MTN8 title last term, are now led by new coach Abdelsam Ouaddou, who replaced Jose Riveiro early last month.
The team is set to depart for a pre-season camp in Spain, where they will play four friendly matches.
