PSL Appoint New DC Panel To Work With Majavu

Following the re-election of Dr Irvin Khoza and his new Exco committee team, the PSL has also appointed new members when it comes to the DC and co-chairperson panels.
The Premier Soccer League announced the appointment of a new Disciplinary Committee (DC) panel on Monday. This independent body, comprising four co-chairpersons and 17 panelists, will serve a four-year term.
The DC is responsible for adjudicating disciplinary matters within the PSL, ensuring fair and impartial decisions. The panellists will be assigned to specific hearings, working alongside one of the four co-chairpersons.
The newly appointed co-chairpersons and panellists bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the DC. Their role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of the league and upholding its rules and regulations.
When a club or individual is charged with a disciplinary offense, the PSL prosecutor, Zola Majavu, presents the case before the DC. The accused party has the opportunity to defend themselves and present their case. The DC then carefully considers all the evidence and makes a final decision. It is when Majavu announces to the public why certain clubs or persons have been charged.
The PSL’s commitment to fair play and disciplinary action is evident in the establishment of this independent body. By appointing experienced and qualified individuals, the league aims to ensure that all disciplinary matters are handled professionally and impartially.
