PSL Confirms Nedbank Cup Round Of 16 Draw Date

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed that the Nedbank Cup round-of-16 draw will take place on Wednesday.

The draw will be conducted after the completion of the remaining two round-of-32 fixtures: Polokwane City hosting AmaZulu, and SSU M-17 facing Motsepe Foundation Championship leaders Milford FC.

So far, 14 teams have already secured their places in the last 16 following this past weekend’s matches. These include South African giants Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns, along with Stellenbosch FC, Golden Arrows, Richards Bay, Durban City, University of Pretoria, Mkhambathi, TS Galaxy, Casric Stars, Sekhukhune United, Vasco da Gama, Upington City, and Jacksa Spears.

This year’s Nedbank Cup is guaranteed to produce a new champion after defending titleholders Kaizer Chiefs were eliminated in the opening round by Gavin Hunt’s Stellenbosch FC.
