Ramovic Appointed Yanga New Coach
Former TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramovic has been appointed as the new head coach of Young Africans in Tanzania.
Ramovic, who resigned from Galaxy last week, takes over from Miguel Gamondi, who previously coached Mamelodi Sundowns.
Ramovic was in charge of three years with Galaxy, having arrived in the country in October 2021 to replace Owen da Gama.
He took the club to sixth place last season, their highest in the PSL, and led them to the Carling Knockout Cup final where they lost to Stellenbosch FC. He couldn’t replicate those standards set last year, as he left the club without winning a game and rooted at the bottom of the league table.
However, it was a huge task for Ramovic as Galaxy was banned by FIFA from signing players at the start of the season, having lost again key players as has been the case in the past seasons since he has been there.
