Sekhukhune Appoint Arendse To The Technical Team

Sekhukhune United have confirmed the appointment of former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Andre Arendse to their technical team.
The club did not reveal Arendse’s specific role, although he previously served as an assistant coach at both SuperSport United and Siwelele. His most recent stint was with Siwelele earlier this season.
Arendse now reunites with Eric Tinkler, his former teammate in the Bafana Bafana squad that famously won the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations.
The pair also worked together at SuperSport United during the 2017/18 season, when Tinkler was head coach and Arendse served as goalkeeper coach.
That season, SuperSport lifted the MTN8 title on penalties in Durban, with the duo overseeing 37 matches together.
Arendse joins Sekhukhune at a positive moment for the club, as Babina Noko currently sit fourth in the Betway Premiership with 21 points from 11 matches.
He is expected to be on the bench for the first time when Sekhukhune visit Marumo Gallants at the Dr Molemela Stadium on Saturday at 18:00.
