Sekhukhune Renew Contracts Of Five Key Players

Sekhukhune United has confirmed the contract renewals of five senior players ahead of next season, two of which were reported by this publication just days ago.
The players who have seen their contracts extended are captain Linda Mntambo, striker Chibuike Ohizu, veteran defender Daniel Cardoso, attacker Vusimuzi Ncube, and Congolese international Tresor Tshibwabwa. Sportswire had previously revealed the contract renewals of Mntambo and Cardoso last week.
These players, under coach Eric Tinkler, were instrumental in helping Sekhukhune finish fourth in the Betway Premiership last term. The club stated, “Their commitment and fighting spirit continue with the Babina Noko family!”
Sekhukhune has also been quite active in the transfer market, signing former SuperSport United striker Bradley Grobler, an announcement also made by this website last week, as well as Miguel Timm, who departed Orlando Pirates at the end of last season.
A few more activities are expected to take place at the club before the season kicks off.
