Sundowns Sign Brazilian Striker!

Mamelodi Sundowns have secured the services of Arthur de Oliveira Sales from Belgian club Lommel, where he was coached by Englishman Steve Bould.
The 22-year-old striker joins the Brazilians on an undisclosed contract, becoming their second signing of the transfer window after Kobamelo Kadisang.
“Brazilian Centre-Forward Arthur de Oliveira Sales has joined the Champions!” Sundowns announced on Twitter.

Arthur is the second Brazilian to join the club after Lucas Ribeiro Costa, who was also signed from a Belgian team, SK Beveren, last season.
The former Bahia attacker netted 10 goals in 34 matches across all competitions for Lommel last season. This was his second stint at the club. Previously, he played for Paços de Ferreira in Portugal and Vasco da Gama in his native Brazil.
Despite his impressive performances, Arthur has yet to earn a call-up to the Brazilian national team at any level.
He joins a growing contingent of South American players at Sundowns, including Marcelo Allende (Chile), Lucas Ribeiro Costa (Brazil), and Matias Esquivel (Argentina).
The club had an open foreign player spot following the departures of Junior Mendieta (Argentina) and Gaston Sirino (Uruguay).
Arthur has linked up with Sundowns in Austria, where they are currently holding a pre-season camp. The team has had a disappointing start to their European tour, suffering defeats in their first two matches.
