Mamelodi Sundowns have secured the services of talented defender Asekho Tiwani from Sekhukhune United.

The 19-year-old has signed a long-term deal with the African champions, bolstering their left-back options for the upcoming season.

Tiwani made a notable impact in his 19 appearances for Sekhukhune last season, contributing two goals and one assist. His spectacular strike against Moroka Swallows earned him the PSL Goal of the Month award.

This is Sundowns’ fourth signing of the season, following the acquisitions of Kobamelo Kodisang, Brazilian forward Arthur Sales, Kegan Johannes. they also appointed Romain Folz as the assistant coach.

In a video message, Tiwani expressed gratitude for Sundowns’ interest in him and his family, acknowledging the challenges he has overcome to reach this point in his career.
