Tau Joins Vietnamese Champions

South African international and Bafana Bafana vice-captain Percy Tau has made a surprising move, joining the Vietnamese club Nam Dinh FC.
The 31-year-old forward had been a free agent after leaving Qatar SC.
At his new club, Tau will be playing alongside fellow South African international Njabulo Blom. Nam Dinh FC, nicknamed “Blue Steel,” announced the signing with enthusiasm on their official channels. “Welcome ‘South African star’ Percy Muzi Tau to join South Dinh Blue Steel,” the club’s statement read.
“Nam Dinh Blue Steel Club would like to introduce the new player of the team – Percy Muzi Tau, the star from the South African team. Nam Dinh Blue Steel pursue the fiery attack gameplay. And Percy Tau’s presence promises to bring more explosive goalscoring moments for the team.”
Tau brings a wealth of experience to the Vietnamese side, having won the CAF Champions League three times and played in leagues in England and Belgium. He is joining a successful team that has won the V.League 1 championship in the past two seasons.
