Nkota Scores On Debut As Al-Ettifaq Triumph

Bafana Bafana’s speedy winger, Mohau Nkota, has made a stunning start to his Al-Ettifaq career, scoring his first goal for the Saudi Arabian giants on his debut in their 2-1 Saudi Pro League victory over Al Kholood at the Al-Ettifaq Club Stadium on Thursday evening.
Nkota, who joined Al-Ettifaq from Orlando Pirates during the off-season, netted his team’s first goal in the sixth minute with a precise left-footed shot from close range in the 18-yard box.
The 21-year-old started and played the full 90 minutes in his first official game for Al-Ettifaq, showcasing his pace and skill on the pitch.
Georginio Wijnaldum, the Dutch former Liverpool midfielder, added the second goal for Al-Ettifaq in the second half, securing a crucial win for the team.
With this victory, Al-Ettifaq currently tops the league table with three points.
It capped an impressive day for Nkota, who was included in the Bafana Bafana final squad that was selected to play two FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Nigeria next month.
The young winger will look to build on his impressive display when Al-Ettifaq hosts Al-Ahli Saudi at home on 12 September.
Nkota will be aiming to continue his impressive form and help his team secure another victory in the season.
