Orlando Pirates’ Treble Trophy Tour Confirmed

Orlando Pirates will on Thursday embark on a partners’ trophy tour with their sponsors in celebration of the historic domestic treble they achieved this season, ending a decade-long wait for major league success.
The Buccaneers enjoyed one of their finest campaigns in recent years after winning the Betway Premiership, MTN8, and Carling Knockout titles during the 2025/26 season.
It marked the first time Pirates had completed such a remarkable feat since the memorable 2011/12 campaign, which was also the last time the Soweto giants lifted the league trophy.
Under the guidance of Moroccan coach Abdeslam Ouaddou in his first season at the club, Pirates produced consistent performances across all competitions and established themselves as one of the dominant teams in South African football this season.
Despite narrowly missing out on the Nedbank Cup and the CAF Champions League title, the Buccaneers still concluded the season with plenty of success and silverware to celebrate.
The trophy tour will begin at 08:30 at Hyatt House before the team heads to Vodacom Commercial Park at 10:00. Pirates will then continue their celebrations at the Amstel offices at 12:45 before concluding the day at the SuperSport International building from 15:00 until 16:30.
Their rivals, Mamelodi Sundowns, also held celebratory activities on Tuesday following their second CAF Champions League triumph after defeating Moroccan side AS FAR over the weekend.
However, Sundowns celebrated directly with supporters in Mamelodi and Hammanskraal instead of visiting sponsors during their trophy celebrations.
