Cape Town City Sign Ex-Chiefs Target

Motsepe Foundation Championship side Cape Town City have completed the signing of striker Dženan Zajmović.
The 31-year-old forward showcased his ability at TS Galaxy towards the end of last season before departing the club under unclear circumstances.
Zajmović scored 11 goals and registered two assists in 28 appearances across all competitions last term, but Galaxy ultimately parted ways with him.
Following his exploits at the Mpumalanga-based side, the Dutch-born Bosnia and Herzegovina striker was linked with several PSL clubs, including Kaizer Chiefs.
Cape Town City have now secured his services after his short stint in the Persian Gulf Pro League with Zob Ahan Esfahan, where he made seven appearances in all competitions this season, providing one assist but failing to find the back of the net.
Zajmović joins a City side that was relegated to the Motsepe Foundation Championship last season and is eager to make an immediate return to the top flight.
The Cape Town outfit have made significant progress after a slow start to the campaign and currently sit fourth on the Motsepe Foundation Championship standings with 22 points from 14 matches.
Following the conclusion of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, Zajmović is expected to make his debut for City away to Gomora United on 23 January.
