Orlando Pirates are set for another electric atmosphere as they face Chippa United in a sold-out Nedbank Cup semi-final at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday (15:00).

This marks the second consecutive sold-out cup game for Pirates, following their 4-2 victory over AmaZulu in the quarter final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium last month.

The Buccaneers are in red-hot form, riding a five-match winning streak across all competitions, including a dominant seven-goal thrashing of Golden Arrows.

This will be Pirates’ first meeting with Chippa in the Nedbank Cup. As the defending champions, having lifted the trophy against Sekhukhune United last year, they’ll be looking to repeat their success.

In the other semi-final, Mamelodi Sundowns travel to a potentially tricky encounter against Stellenbosch FC at Danie Craven Stadium on Sunday.

The Ke Yona Cup final will be played at Mbombela Stadium on 1 June.
