Marumo Gallants have made another change to their technical team, this time appointing Sundra Govinder as an assistant coach.

Govinder, who recently parted ways with Motsepe Foundation Championship side Casric Stars, joins the Bloemfontein-based club on Monday, 16 December. He will work alongside head coach Dan Malesela and first assistant Duncan Lechesa.

Gallants currently find themselves in 12th position in the Betway Premiership with 10 points from nine matches. Their recent loss to Polokwane City has added pressure to the team.

The club’s technical department has undergone significant changes this season. Former Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana coach Molefi Ntseki was recently appointed as the club’s technical director.

There are rumors suggesting that Malesela’s position as head coach could be in jeopardy if results don’t improve. Ntseki may be considered as a potential replacement.

Gallants gained top-flight status by purchasing the status of Moroka Swallows during the off-season.
