Busy Gallants Add Another Technical Member To The Club

Betway Premiership side Marumo Gallants have bolstered their technical team ahead of their clash against Orlando Pirates at Orlando Stadium on Tuesday.
They have added DStv Diski Challenge assistant coach Willy Moloto to work alongside Sundra Govinder and Duncan Lechesa.
Govinder, who Casric Stars recently dismissed, was appointed as Gallants’ second assistant coach following head coach Dan Malesela’s leave of absence.
This raises questions about the future of the club’s Diski Challenge coach, Stan Nkoane.
Sportswire has learned that Nkoane, who achieved a historic feat in the Nedbank Cup during the 2019/20 season, is being pursued by three Motsepe Foundation Championship clubs, all of which have presented him with enticing offers.
Gallants surprised many in the football community with Govinder’s appointment as assistant coach and confirmed Malesela’s leave of absence last week.
Prior to this announcement, Sportswire had been informed of internal tensions at Gallants and the possibility of Malesela’s dismissal following their loss to Polokwane City last weekend.
Malesela, currently in his third tenure with the club, was appointed at the eleventh hour during the off-season.
This followed the resignation of Dylan Kerr, who refused to work with co-coaches at the club.
Gallants acquired the Betway Premiership status of Moroka Swallows during the off-season, and club chairman Abram Sello is determined to ensure that his significant investment does not go to waste by allowing the club to suffer relegation.
Gallants currently occupy 12th position in the Betway Premiership table with 10 points from nine matches.
