Khenyeza and Arrows split seems final

Golden Arrows and Mabhuti Khenyeza seem to have finalised their split, after a source close to this website definitively confirmed that he will not be returning to duty.
According to a Sportswire source close to Khenyeza, the coach will not rejoin the club, and Arrows seem to have acknowledged this situation with the removal of his profile off the clubs website.
Arrows issued a statement a few weeks ago indicating that Khenyeza had been ‘absent from work for a week’ and have chosen to ‘not comment any further on this matter.’
Growing increasingly frustrated, Khenyeza decided to step away from the club without submitting a formal resignation letter, believing that Arrows would reconsider their actions and cease interfering with his coaching responsibilities.
As no resolution appeared forthcoming, the Sportswire source stated that Khenyeza would not return to Arrows, and the club has subsequently removed his profile from their website.
Khenyeza was left angered despite having recently secured two consecutive victories, moving the team into the top six.
Following his departure and subsequent absence from the club’s daily operations, Arrows appointed Musa Bilankulu and Kagisho Dikgacoi as co-coaches.
However, in their first match in charge last weekend, the duo suffered a defeat to bottom-placed Richards Bay at home in the Betway Premiership.
This loss caused Arrows to drop one position to seventh in the table with 13 points from seven matches.
Khenyeza’s representatives are now exploring other opportunities for their client next year, believing that his achievements at Arrows have positioned him well for future coaching roles.
The former Kaizer Chiefs striker, who enjoyed two stints as a player with the club, was one of the finest strikers in the PSL, boasting a record of over 100 goals.
He will forever be remembered for scoring the quickest goal in the Soweto Derby between Orlando Pirates and Chiefs in November 2007 – a mere 19 seconds – in front of FIFA dignitaries, including then-FIFA President Sepp Blatter, at Kings Park Stadium, ahead of the 2010 World Cup preliminary draw in Durban.
Another significant milestone for Khenyeza was scoring twice as Ajax Cape Town claimed the Carling Knockout in the 2008/09 season, defeating Pirates at Chatsworth Stadium.
