MTN8 Quarter-Final Venues & Dates Confirmed
The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed the venues for this weekend’s MTN8 quarter-finals, headlined by defending champions Orlando Pirates hosting Durban City.
As last season’s Betway Premiership champions, Pirates kick off the tournament on Saturday afternoon against Khalil Ben Youssef’s side at the Orlando Amstel Arena.
Later that evening, league runners-up Mamelodi Sundowns face seventh-place finishers Polokwane City at Lucas Moripe Stadium.
Sunday’s action begins in the afternoon with fourth-placed AmaZulu hosting Sekhukhune United at Chatsworth Stadium—a venue selection that raised plenty of eyebrows.
The quarter-final weekend concludes on Sunday evening when third-placed Kaizer Chiefs welcome Golden Arrows to the FNB Stadium.
Pirates enter the tournament as heavy favorites, having established a PSL record by winning the MTN8 trophy four consecutive times.
