Nabi: We Are Ready For A Tough Game

Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has predicted that their game against SuperSport United at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday afternoon will be not an easy one, but his players are more than ready for the battle.

This will be the second meeting in a space of a week after Chiefs hammered SuperSport 4-0 in the Carling Knockout Round of 16 at the same venue in Polokwane.

However, the Tunisian tactician Nasreddine Nabi believes that their game against Matsatsantsa a Pitoli will be not an easy one, but Amakhosi’s video analyst Mark Davy helped them to prepare for this game.

“We know SuperSport United as one of the big clubs in South Africa. We respect all of our opponents,” Nabi told Amakhosi’s media department.

“We saw their last game against Orlando Pirates and they made chances with good strategic play, so we noticed that and are working with our video analyst to prepare to play them.

“We know it won’t be an easy game. They will want to come back from losing their last two games, for sure. We have spoken about this all week and our players are ready for a tough match,” he concluded.

The Tshwane-based side is going to this game having lost against the other Sowetan team Orlando Pirates FC 2-0 on Tuesday in the Betway Premiership.

On the other side, Amakhosi lost 2-1 at home against the defending champions of the Premiership Mamelodi Sundowns in their last game of the league.

That was Chiefs’ first loss of the season in all competitions this season. SuperSport, on the other hand, has lost five games in all competitions this season.

Amakhosi are in position number seven with six points after three games while SuperSport are in the 13th place with only four points in five games.
