Ouaddou Gives Latest Update About Makhaula

Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has confirmed that midfielder Makhehleni Makhaula’s return is imminent, but the team is taking a cautious approach to his recovery.
Makhaula, who was named the PSL Midfielder of the Season, hasn’t played in any matches this season after sustaining an injury at the end of the last one.
Ouaddou provided an update on his status, expressing his satisfaction with the player’s progress.
“For a coach, when you see important players who have achieved a lot for the club coming back, it’s always satisfying,” Ouaddou said.
“I always say that the more options we have, the better it is for a coach, so of course, we are very happy that Makhaula is returning.”
Ouaddou stressed the need to be professional and ensure a full recovery, stating, “My duty and the duty of the medical department is to ensure that he comes back stronger and that we don’t risk re-injury. We will speak with him, but of course, we will try to make the right decision for him, the club, and the team.”
The Buccaneers are currently preparing for the MTN8 final against Stellenbosch FC, which will take place at the sold-out Mbombela Stadium on Saturday.
