PSL Confirms Dates, Venues, Times Of The MTN8

The PSL has officially announced the dates, venues, and kick-off times for the MTN8 quarter-finals of the 2024/25 season.
Defending champions Orlando Pirates will aim for a historic third consecutive MTN8 title when they host SuperSport United at Orlando Stadium next Saturday at 6pm.
On the following day, Stellenbosch FC, who narrowly missed out on second place in the league, will face TS Galaxy at Danie Craven Stadium, with kick-off at 3 pm.
Sekhukhune United, who secured a strong fourth-place finish, will host Cape Town City at New Peter Mokaba Stadium on 10 August (15:00).
Record-breaking champions Mamelodi Sundowns will conclude the quarter-finals with a home match against Polokwane City at Lucas Moripe Stadium in the following day (15:00).
This venue was chosen due to a conflict with the sponsorship of Blue Bulls at Loftus Versfeld, who are sponsored by Vodacom and the stadium will blue colours of the telecommunication. It is why Sundowns have previously played MTN8 matches at alternative venues, including a second leg semifinal against Pirates in Polokwane during the 2022/23 season.
Pirates and Sundowns have dominated the MTN8 in recent years, winning the last four titles. Pirates kept the trophy’s old design in the 2022/23 season before the introduction of the new one last term.
