Sekhukhune Officially Appoint Tinkler As Head Coach

Sekhukhune United has officially announced the immediate appointment of Eric Tinkler as their new head coach.
Tinkler replaces Lehlohonolo Seema, who was dismissed following a recent loss to Richards Bay. This decision comes despite Sekhukhune currently holding fourth place in the Betway Premiership table, with 31 points from 20 matches.
The club’s objective is to secure a second or third-place finish to qualify for a CAF club competition next season.
Tinkler, who was dismissed by Cape Town City in December, had consistently been linked with Sekhukhune whenever the club faced setbacks.
Upon joining Sekhukhune, Tinkler has brought in Marc van Heerden, who retired from Cape Town City at the end of last season, as an assistant coach. Van Heerden will work alongside Paulus Masehe.
However, the status of Kaitano Tembo, Seema’s former assistant coach, remains unclear.
Tinkler’s first match in charge of Sekhukhune will be against Marumo Gallants in a Betway Premiership fixture at Dr. Petrus Molemela Stadium on Wednesday at 19:30.
