SuperSport Sign Two New Signings
SuperSport United has strengthened their squad with the signings of Eric Mbangossoum and Zimbabwean striker, Nokutenda Mangezi.
Both players have signed one-year deals with the club, with options to renew.
“SuperSport United is pleased to announce the signing of Chad international defender, Eric Mbangossoum and Zimbabwean striker, Nokutenda Mangezi on one-year deals with options to renew,” the club stated.
It is unlikely that Mbangossoum and Mangezi will feature in SuperSport’s upcoming match against Mamelodi Sundowns in the Betway Premiership on Tuesday (19:30). Their availability may depend on the issuance of their work permits. Club coach Gavin Hunt will miss this game as he is suspended.
This will be SuperSport’s first match since losing to Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 quarterfinal last month. Meanwhile, Sundowns enter the game with a 4-0 victory over Eswatini side Mbabane Swallows in the CAF Champions League second preliminary round first leg played at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday.
As new signings, Eric Mbangossoum and Nokutenda Mangezi join Vincent Pule, Keanin Ayer, Pogiso Sanoka, Nyiko Mobbie, Thakasani Mbanjwaa, Brooklyn Poggenopool, Ricardo Goss (on loan from Sundowns), and Orifha Maubelo.
