City Signs Nodada And Three Others

Durban City has confirmed the signing of four players, including Thabo Nodada.

Nodada was released by Cape Town City at the end of last season following their relegation to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

The other new signings are Haashim Domingo, who was also released by Cape Town City, along with Jean Lwamba and Kyle Jurgens. Jurgens recently returned from a loan spell at Stellenbosch.

Club chairman Farook Kadodia commented: “We’re pleased to welcome these players at an important moment for the club. Their different qualities and experiences will be valuable as we begin this new chapter.” 

Durban City, who were promoted last season after winning the Motsepe Foundation Championship, have been very active in the transfer market. They have also signed Brooklyn Poggenpoel, Darren Keet, Trevor Mokwena, and Liam de Kock.

Coached by the experienced Gavin Hunt, Durban City will open their 2025/26 season against TS Galaxy at Mbombela Stadium on Sunday at 15:00.
