Chiefs And Sundowns Clash Almost Sold Out

The much-anticipated Carling Knockout quarter-final clash between Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns is nearly sold out, the PSL has confirmed.
The two football giants will lock horns at FNB Stadium on Saturday, with a place in the semi-finals up for grabs.
“Carling Knockout Ticketing Update: 70% tickets sold for the Kaizer Chiefs vs Mamelodi Sundowns quarter-final,” the PSL said.
“Tickets for all four quarter-finals are still available at Ticketpro Outlets countrywide (R50 each).”
This high-stakes encounter is set to be a highlight of the weekend’s football action, especially after Orlando Pirates’ surprising elimination by Magesi in the Round of 16.
Before their Carling Knockout showdown, both teams have crucial Betway Premiership fixtures on Wednesday. Chiefs will face Magesi at Peter Mokaba Stadium, while Sundowns host Cape Town City at Loftus Versfeld.
Chiefs are currently in a slump, having lost their last two league matches. Sundowns, on the other hand, will be looking to close the gap on league leaders Orlando Pirates.
The upcoming League Cup clash between Chiefs and Sundowns marks their first meeting since the 2015/16 season, when Sundowns emerged 3-1 victorious in the final. Chiefs last won the Carling Knockout in 2011/12.
