City Bolsters Midfield With Mokotjo Signing

Cape Town City’s transfer activity continues with the acquisition of midfielder Kamohelo Mokotjo from Sekhukhune United.
The move comes in the form of a swap deal, with Relebogile Mokhuoane heading the other way to join Sekhukhune.
Mokotjo, a former Bafana Bafana star, impressed last season with Sekhukhune. He featured in 36 matches across all competitions, contributing two goals and two assists as the club finished a respectable fourth place.

The 33-year-old adds to City’s growing squad, joining fellow newcomers Sibusiso Ziba, Fortune Makaringe, Carlos do Carmo, Haashim Domingo, Lefa Aphane, Ayanda Sithole, and Kayden Francis. Interestingly, Cape Town City will face their recent transfer partner, Sekhukhune United, in the MTN8 quarter-final when the season kicks off in August.
