Former Ajax Cape Town Captain Joins Ajax Amsterdam
The former Ajax Cape Town captain, Travis Graham, has been announced as the Head of Football Operations at Kerkyra United, a development partner of Ajax Amsterdam.
Kerkyra United, based in the city of Corfu in Greece, focuses on developing young players in collaboration with the Eredivisie giants from the Netherlands. The club officially announced Graham’s appointment on Monday evening.
The 32-year-old joins the Greek-based side after his most recent playing stint with Christchurch United in New Zealand, where he had been continuing his professional career.

“Travis Graham brings a wealth of strategic insight, expertise, and a clear vision to elevate Kerkyra United to the next level. Welcome to the family, Travis.”
Graham began his professional journey with Ajax Cape Town, making his debut in 2012 at the age of 19. He spent six years at the club before departing in 2018, establishing himself as a key figure and leader during his time there.
One of the standout moments of Graham’s career came in 2015 when he captained Ajax Cape Town to MTN8 Cup glory at just 22 years old.
Ajax secured a 1–0 victory against Kaizer Chiefs in the final at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, with Nathan Paulse scoring the decisive goal in the 56th minute.
Graham’s move into a leadership role marks a new chapter in his football journey, as he transitions from playing to football operations, bringing experience, vision, and leadership to Kerkyra United’s development structures.
